Modern dental office at DentClinic

Why a clinic needs expensive equipment

Modern equipment is not for show, it's a necessity. A dental microscope reveals a hidden canal that the naked eye cannot see. A 3D tomograph — accurately determines nerve position before implantation. Digital impressions — take impressions without the unpleasant "plaster" in your mouth.

At DentClinic we have invested over €200,000 in equipment — and continue to update it every 2–3 years. This allows us to handle complex cases precisely, safely and quickly.

Fact Treating teeth under a microscope reduces the risk of repeat inflammation by 3–5 times — a proven statistic from international studies.

What we have

Carl Zeiss dental microscope

Up to 25× magnification lets you see everything: micro-cracks, hidden canals, remnants of old fillings. The microscope is used for caries treatment, root canal retreatment and aesthetic restorations.

Planmeca 3D tomograph (CT)

Produces a volumetric image of the jaw in 15 seconds with minimal radiation dose. Used for implantation planning, cyst diagnostics, sinus problems and complex endodontics.

3Shape TRIOS digital scanner

Takes the "impression" with a scanner directly in the mouth — without unpleasant putty. More accurate than classical impressions. The result is visible immediately on screen and can be sent to the dental lab via the internet.

KaVo / Sirona dental units

Premium chairs with ergonomic design and patient monitors. You can watch a movie during treatment or see the condition of your teeth on screen.

Erbium laser

Cuts tissue without pain or bleeding, accelerates healing. Used in surgery (frenectomy, gingivectomy), in whitening and in pediatric dentistry — allows treating caries almost without a drill.

Sedation device

Nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") — for anxious patients or children. Completely removes fear while the patient remains conscious and can go home immediately after the procedure.

Benefits for the patient

  • Accurate diagnostics. We see what's invisible on regular X-rays — no more "let's pull it and see".
  • Fewer visits. Digital technologies allow placing a crown in 1–2 days instead of 1–2 weeks.
  • Comfort. No unpleasant impressions, the drill — only when really needed, laser instead of scalpel.
  • Minimal radiation. Modern X-rays have a 5–10× lower dose than 10 years ago.
  • Predictable outcome. Before treatment we see the final result on screen.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the microscope better than regular work?
Under a microscope the doctor sees what the eye simply cannot distinguish: micro-cracks, hidden canals, remnants of old fillings. This greatly reduces the risk of complications and extends the tooth's lifespan.
Is a 3D scan safe?
Yes. The radiation dose from a jaw CT is comparable to 1–2 hours of an airplane flight. The scan is taken only when really needed — for example, before implantation.
Are digital impressions more expensive?
No, the cost for the patient is the same. It's just more comfortable — no putty in your mouth, no need to suppress the gag reflex.
Can a laser be used for everyone?
For almost everyone. There are isolated contraindications (for example, pacemakers), the doctor will clarify at consultation. The laser is especially good for children and pregnant women.
