Dental implants at DentClinic

What an implant is and why you need one

A dental implant is a titanium "root" that is placed into the bone where a tooth has been lost. A crown is then mounted on top — indistinguishable from a natural tooth. Unlike bridges, implants do not require grinding down healthy neighbouring teeth.

If a missing tooth is not replaced, the neighbouring teeth gradually start to tilt, the bone in that area "melts away", the bite is disturbed, and problems with chewing and digestion appear. Implant treatment solves all of these issues at once.

Good to know Modern implants last for decades when placed and maintained correctly. Straumann and Nobel offer a lifetime warranty on the implant itself.

Which implants we use

  • Straumann (Switzerland) — the gold standard. Best osseointegration, ideal for complex cases.
  • Nobel Biocare (Sweden) — premium segment, with All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols available.
  • Osstem (South Korea) — optimal price-to-quality ratio, excellent integration.
  • MIS (Israel) — reliable mid-segment implants.

How the procedure works

  1. Diagnosis. 3D scan (CT), blood test, evaluation of bone density and gum condition.
  2. Treatment plan. Digital planning of the position of the implants and the future crown.
  3. Implant placement. Under local anesthesia, 30–60 minutes per implant. Painless.
  4. Healing (3–6 months). The implant integrates with the bone (osseointegration). A temporary crown is placed during this time.
  5. Permanent crown. Impressions, fabrication in the dental lab, fixation.

In simple cases "same day" implantation is possible — implant + temporary crown placed in a single visit.

Frequently asked questions

Is it painful?
The placement itself is performed under local anesthesia — the patient feels only pressure, no pain. Mild discomfort is possible for 1–2 days after surgery and is relieved with regular painkillers.
How long does an implant last?
With proper care and regular check-ups — 20+ years. Straumann and Nobel offer a lifetime warranty on the implant itself. Crowns carry a 5-year warranty.
What if there isn't enough bone?
If the bone has thinned after a long absence of a tooth, we perform bone grafting or a sinus lift. This adds 3–4 months to the timeline but allows the implant to be placed reliably.
Can I eat right after the surgery?
It is better to abstain for the first 2–3 hours. Then — soft food (no hot or hard items) for the first 2 weeks. Over time you return to your normal diet.
Is financing available?
Yes — we arrange 0% financing for up to 12 months through partner banks. Direct installment plans with the clinic are also available.
